I probably don't need to tell you how common the word 'church' is, especially when it comes to the Christian world. Many refer to the place where followers of Christ gather as the 'church'. Many of these places even have the word 'church' in their title on a sign or on the building on the property.
The word 'church' is also commonly used to describe God's people.
The words 'church' and 'churches' appear in the NT 115 times.
My reason and prayer for presenting a study on this popular word, 'church', is to help unveil the truth of God's Word that believers will no longer continue in ignorance, not just on the word 'church', but on many things that have been erroneously taught and believed by those who profess a living and active faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
I will be breaking this study into different parts.
